     Shaded Streets, Fine Residences, Rich Grounds, dotted with Trees of Forest, Fruit and Ornamental varieties.  Spread here, there and everywhere by lovely bowers of nature's beautiful flowers.  Churches, Schools, Secret Societies, manufacturing and commercial interests up to the standard.  We cordially invite visitors to our city.  We see at night by electricity.  We drink the purest water, available from the city's fount.
     See our Horse Collar and Manufacturing institution, employing one hundred and twenty-five men, with a weekly pay roll of about one thousand dollars.  Last year the Company Manufactured between 6,000 and 7,000 dozen Separable Horse Collars, and expect to nearly double the capacity soon and make between 10,000 and 12,000 this year.  President Wambold and Secretary Bennett are men of push, sterling enterprise and untiring energy.
     The Blair Canning Factory products are sold all over the United States.  Cleanest, brightest, best.  Just try them.
      The Pilot, Republican, Courier and Advertiser are solid newspapers, edited by able writers.
      Our City extends to you a whole-souled, hearty, earnest invitation to visit us.
